Important news about visas issued to these countries

In order to provide efficient service to clients in issuing visas to Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia, the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan has made changes in the organization of consular affairs.

Turizmplus.az reports that this was reported by the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan.

It was reported that from July 10, an appointment for submitting visa applications can be booked on the website of the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan, pieraksts.mfa.gov.lv.

Documents required for visas to Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia can be submitted to the VFS Global Visa Center.

The embassy informed that only persons from the following categories can submit visa applications directly to the embassy

— holders of diplomatic and service passports, personal visitors of employees of Azerbaijan's representative offices in Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia, family members of citizens of Latvia and the European Union, as well as persons whose visit is related to humanitarian issues (severe illness of a relative or participation in a funeral).
Other consular services (residence permit applications, requests from various databases of Latvia, issuance of identity documents from Latvia, etc.) are provided directly at the embassy by prior appointment.
